| November 07, 2009 - Create contact us form on your website with Google Docs |
|
Do you have a need of a “contact us” form on your website that comes to your email? You do not want to learn how to code it? Google is to the rescue. Follow these steps to create a contact us form in a snap:
- Go to Gmail.com and login (if you do not have a Gmail account I strongly advise to create one, it’s a very powerful and effective tool)
- At the very top left corner of the page you will see links – click on the “documents” link.
- You will be taken to Google documents page. On the left hand side just under the logo click “add new” and in the drop down select “form”.
- You will be taken to a separate page where you will have all options to create your custom form. Once done, don’t forget to click on “More actions” and “Edit confirmation” in the drop down. Google default form submission confirmation is kind of silly and you may want to place something more official if you are doing this form for your business website.
- As a last step click on “more actions” select “Embed” option and copy and paste the code provided by Google into your web page. In case you are using WordPress platform just go to administration mode to the page where you want the form. Switch to the HTML view and past this code there and hit save.
